I concur with the first poster and wish I had paid more attention to his/her review. This machine was noisy in playing disks, very thick with the battery attached and refused to play several dvds. However top marks as usual to Amazon for a fuss-free return. In fact I note that Amazon has discontinued this product.

Considering the cost, excellent value for money. Has reasonable level of features, extras like the remote control, battery, mains or car powered mean you can use it anywhere. Screen is a little small hence 4 stars but hey, you pays your money you takes your choice!

We were all set to go on holiday in my people carrier. Biggest problem my kids get bored driving for long distances.
I ordered two of these DVD players for them at the weekend and they arrived in Northern Ireland by Tuesday. Excellent piece of equipment with all the necessary attachments and brilliant for keeping them quiet. The screen is very clear and the system is very easy to use, especially with the little remote control allowing you to Zoom to the full screen.

The pack here is great value and the Region Hack works, as do homemade discs, it has read every DVD I have tried in it.
OK its not the best quality piece of kit on the market, but I looked at a few and this seems the best value/ quality combination.
I dont think the headphones will last though!

I thought it was a really good player for the price. I couldn't give it five stars because there are better players BUT NOT for £99 - I came back on here because I was looking to get another one for my nephew. We used it on holiday recently and to be honest the noise wasn't an issue at all. It can play all regions providing you do a few button presses

Use the arrow buttons to choose region: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 255 (255 = region free)
When on desired region number press Enter
