Poorly designed LCD monitior - 04 Mar 2008

I have two of these at work as TV monitors, one is attached to a terrestrial aerial and apart from the decidedly average quality of the picture it works ok.
However, the other is attached to a DVD recorder with a Satellite input and everytime the AV channel is changed on the recorder, the Toshiba monitor decides there is no signal and shuts itself down.
The remote control does not work properly (only the volume works) so any adjustments have to made on the top of the monitor. Also, pressing the ON button is not enough to get a picture on start up, a PROGRAMME or INPUT has to be selected first. All in all, spectacularly poor design guaranteed try the patience of even the most sanguine user.

When this television arrived the screen did not work and when I tried to return it I was referred to a DHL website that did not work either. For the first time I regret buying from Amazon.
