I brought this tv to use in a bedroom with a ps3
I have to say that it is fantastic. The picture quality is brilliant and i see no problem with the sound as other reviewers are saying. It really is not worth the extra money for a sony as this tv is as good or if not better. The sound and picture settings are very easy to use and Blu-ray films are brilliant on it.

Have to say I wasnt expecting that much from this initially but Im very impressed so far. Even with a cheap indoor aerial I bought more than 10 years ago it works great and the freeview is really good. So easy to set-up and install (it does everytthing for you more to be honest) and it looks great with its glass stand. All in all definately the Tv for watching movies and sports. Philips get a thumbs up from me!

have tried 2 philips lcd tvs now. first one received the picture was very poor quality, all you could see was lots of squares so returned it and got them to send a replcement. That one was just as bad and have returned that one aswell. are very disappointed with philips.

i brought this TV really for my PS3. so i would be hooking it up via HDMI. it has 2 so if i wanted anything else with HDMI, i would have a spare one free. The picture quality is really good on games. They stand out crisp and clear and there is no blocks at all. It can do 1080p but not true 1080p. the style looks good and goes with the gloss of my ps3 too. it looks good on blu rays too but it could do a little better on them. the sound quality is amazing from such tiny little speakers. So go out there and buy it for a bedroom to put on your ps3 or if you must your 360..:/

I knew that any new LCD TV was going to be an improvement on my very old Mitsubishi set but I had not expected it to be so good. The picture is very sharp with great colours. The remote is easy to use and the amount of picture 'tweeking'via the remote is more than good enough for me. I think that the sound quality is very good too but maybe this is because its in a small room. Before buying the Philips, I had looked at Panasonics but to be honest the difference in price was significant. I really do think that this TV is great value. It has great picture quality and is very stylish with a polish black surround and glass base. Also, Amazon are £130 cheaper than Tesco!!!
