URGENT Read if you need a warranty repair. - 18 May 2007

Amazon will only warranty for the first year, after that it is down to Diboss. Pulse service is no longer trading. If you need a warranty repair call RepairTech on 08718552418. They now have the contract to repair Diboss. I also have the same issue with the Power Supply Unit box (PSU) as the previous 2 reviewers and it has taken me 3 days of constant phone calls to track down the new warranty repair company. I am currenty waiting for my new PSU to arrive. All in all a good LCD tv let down by a weak PSU. This is a recognised fault and repairtech said that the new PSU's are better and will not have this fault. we will see !!!

Similar to the previous review this TV broke down after 14 months. Think it was the power pack rather than the TV itself. The warranty company no longer support this product which means Amazon are bound by the conditions of sale to support it some other way. You just have to make them take responsibility. While the TV wasn't great, Amazon really were. They repaid the full value of the TV and collected it. They followed up well and took full responsibility.

I bought this TV from Amazon about 14 months ago and to be fair, it was a great cheaper alternative to the LCD TV's that had just hit the market. It even came with a 2 year warranty, or so I thought. Yesterday I returned home from work and my TV was not working. There appeared to be some sort of issue with the power lead / box that links to the TV as it would not work out of any power socket in the house or at work. I dug out the two year warranty and phoned Pulse Services or whatever they are called who told me that they no longer serviced Diboss TV's and told me to contact Amazon. I contacted Amazon, they told me to contact Pulse Services. They told me they don't service Diboss TV's anymore. I tried to contact Diboss and have not had a response. All in all, a good tv, while it works. Then things become altogether slightly more tricky. So much for my two years.

Setup works very well and the TV is impressive. However, I have not been able to contact UK Support by e-mail and links on the UK website do not work

After much searching on the high street and on the internet I went for this Diboss TV basically as it was HD ready and very reasonably priced. Product arrived 2 days after despatch, unpacked it switched it on and hit the auto tune button. This found all the 5 channels but in a strange order but thats easily sorted. Plugged in my Sky box played with the settings and then the true picture/sound quality came through. With several different picture/sound settings available at the push of a button on the remote this TV will not disappoint you and it's user friendly as well(no need for the instruction booklet). Also this TV is compatable with the Sky remote for full control of your tv via the Sky remote even though Diboss is not listed anywhere with any codes for programming the remote. All in all money well spent!
