Down to silly money in Comet now (£29.99) because they only have an analogue tuner and, for them, they're now disposing of them as 'end or range' - but still great value for money.

Don't buy this dvd recorder! the tuner is awful, it has trouble reading and formatting discs, it skips a lot while recording, the picture flickers in recordings and the remote is next to useless. There are far better recorders out there around the same price now, so there's no excuse for buying this pile of junk!

Like others have said here - this machine is TROUBLE.
Freezes up, won't play, timer does not work, even the remote won't let the machine do as it's told!
probably got a faulty factory batch going on.

I've had two of these and they've both had faults. The first one had to be continually powered off and on again and then eventually even this wouldn't get it to record. The second one has now started to give me trouble, it does record, but it won't play it all back - it just jumps past huge chunks of the recording.
I can't rely on it so I'm having to give up and get something more expensive - I think you do get what you pay for...

I didnt got mine from amazon I got mine form a local shop and couldnt be happier not just with the price but the functions and ease of use, in typical man fashion I discarded the instuctions and went in about it myself and after 45 mins I had it rigged up and recording from sky box, dvd/divx player and even playsation 2. all in in a superb bit of kit.
