This is a great player,plays everything it says and just as good as my £200 pioneer if not better.

We had great difficulty getting this to pay DVDs at all. The only way it would work was by resetting it to factory settings every time we used it and then going through the setup programme. Once we switched off it forgot the settings. Also, it would only play region 2 DVDs. Some, but not all, Jpeg CDs would play and it was fine for music CDs. I think the problem probably lay with the modification to multi-region rather than the manufacturer. Panasonic's customer care leaves something to be desired - they took three weeks to reply to my query and refused help because of the modification to multi-region. However, Amazon have refunded in full. We are looking for a replacement but are now wary of modified players.

Nice player if it would play DVD's It says region 2 on the back, but wont play them. CD & cd jpeg's worked fine. Let's hope the next one works as these were top rated in the Which magazine reviews on DVD players.

I bought this as a present for my parents and was very disappointed to see on the box that it is a region 2 *ONLY* player.
It was not possible to return it or they would go without a christmas present, and I could not open it to see if it contained a reset code.
I am sure it is a very good region 2 player, but do not buy it if you need a multi-region player, as it is not.
